VDMD e.V. or the Network of German Fashion and Textile Designers created this design award to celebrate its 30th anniversary. VDMD Managing Director Mara Michel, and Managing Director of Sympatex, Michael Kamm, honoured the prizewinners during a glamorous gala evening at the Atrium of Deutsche Bank Berlin. The participating fashion designers had to create innovative and trendy “all day – all weather” rainwear that would meet today's demands of an urban lifestyle and working style. For the realisation, Sympatex Technologies provided them with a wide range of 100 percent waterproof and windproof as well as optimally breathable Sympatex laminates.
