The holiday countdown is coming to a close, leaving last minute shoppers in need of gifts for the naughty and nice. According to leading specialty retailer J. Jill, gifts that convey a sense of coziness are good choices this season as consumers seem drawn to the comforts of hearth and family gatherings.
From floral sleepshirts and lush cashmere tunics to limited-edition tees benefiting women in need, here are J.Jill's top gift picks.
The winning design from J. Jill's "Nature of Compassion" tee-shirt contest is now available in all J. Jill stores as a limited edition.
This comfy long- sleeve tee features original artwork by Jennifer Reagles, a drug-and-alcohol abuse counselor from Middleton, Wisconsin. Inspiration for her Autumn's Song design came from the conservation land in her own backyard.
Cotton tee retails for 100% of the profits will be donated to the J. Jill Compassion Fund, which supports community-based organizations committed to helping poor and homeless women become self-sufficient.
Due to the overwhelming response to the "Nature of Compassion" tee-shirt contest, J. Jill produced note cards featuring the designs by each of the 10 finalists. Proceeds from these cards, which come in a package of 10 cards with envelopes, will also benefit the J. Jill Compassion Fund.
Each holiday season J. Jill offers a selection of items created by the Women's Craft Cooperative for Rosie's Place, a Boston-based sanctuary for poor and homeless women.
