Tight supply hikes VSF prices

Driven by price increase by some leading companies, domestic viscose staple fibre (VSF) rates continue to rise. Now 1.5D price in mainstream market has already reached 20900-21500 yuan per ton, up 200-300 yuan over the average increase of last week. However, several leading companies are offering 1.5D around 21200-21600 yuan per ton.
With strong demand from downstream market, export situation seems to be a little tense.
The market is expected to remain upbeat, atleast for a while, providing huge opportunities for principal VSF manufacturers.
Recent VSF market is strong but the supply is tight. Thus, VSF price has been raised 200-300 yuan per ton on average. Mainstream market price of 1.5D is around 20900-21500 yuan per ton. Currently the center price of VSF 1.5D * 38mm (white) has risen to 21,100 yuan per ton, up 200 yuan over the end of last week. Price offered by Xinxiang Chemical Fiber has increased from 21,000 yuan to 21,400 yuan per ton.
