First Disney Baby Store arrives in Glendale, California

The premiere Disney Baby Store provides an exclusive array of products to help families celebrate baby’s magical moments throughout the day such as playtime, bathtime, on-the-go, getting ready, mealtime, dressing baby, baby’s first, and in the nursery. In addition to the first store, the Disney Baby online boutique launched and a selection of Disney Baby products is also available within Disney Store locations nationwide offering families the same high-quality infant and toddler products in popular Disney character styles.

From its launch of the Disney Cuddly Bodysuit™ in spring 2011, and through products designed with parents in mind, Disney Baby offers today’s parents everything they need to bond with baby at every stage. The Disney Baby Store and online boutique feature many high-quality giftable products that are perfect for grandparents, aunts, uncles and friends looking for something special. Both the store and the online boutique are organized around the special moments of baby’s day, making it easy and fun to shop. Apparel and sleepwear sold is made with 100 percent organic cotton.

At the opening celebration, Chapek and Sweeney greeted more than 20 expectant military moms with Operation Shower, a non-profit organization that supports military families by hosting baby showers to ease the stress of deployment. Disney teamed with Operation Shower to honor the new moms and their families by treating them to a magical baby shower and complimentary shopping experience in the new store.
