HCM City-based Viet - Nhat Co Ltd has invested VND77 billion to set up a garment manufacturing plant at Dung Quat Economic Zone.
It is the third garment factory in the region.
The first phase of the plant has been completed and has capacity to produce 1 million units per year with 600 workers.
Sources informed that the project's second phase would comprise a factory employing an additional 1200 workers and producing 1.2 million garments per year.
Garments produced will be exported to the US and the EU markets.
