Hong Kong is famous for its knitters who work for mid-range and high-end categories. The following two manufacturers are prime examples!

- Joytec Int’l Ltd offers a mixed collection of which 70% is for womenswear with fluid fabrics and sophisticated cuts/details. Founded in 1993, the firm has already won over some renowned labels. An ideal range for buyers in search of very feminine, trendy collections. Of special note: loose cardigans, zipped or decorated with gems.

- Nitto Knits, based in Kowloon since it was founded in 2000. They offer some really lovely collections of cardigans and fine jumpers in natural fabrics and blends. They also have a collection in organic cotton. For womenswear only.

Casual wear - Nounou Bros, Egypt, supplies a broad range of tops, T-shirts, sweatshirts, hoodies and bottoms in Egyptian cotton. Prices range from entry-level to medium. Located in Cairo since it was established in 1952, the business is vertical, benefitting from the supply of materials at the International Textiles holding company, a large cotton business, to which it belongs. - Abha Spintex, India has as its target group the firms and buyers for men’s casual and formal wear, with an extensive range of shirts, chinos, trousers and jackets. Mid-range. Accepts orders for 100 articles/models upwards. Its factory is situated in Mumbai and has the capacity to accommodate very large volume orders.

Suiting - Createx Tekstil, Turkey, is headquartered in Adana, in southern Turkey. The manufacturer, which launched its business in 2006, is developing women’s suiting alongside bottoms in woven fabrics. Everything, in mid-range, has Oeko-Tex standard 100 certification. It also supplies collections in organic fabrics with GOTS accreditation. Large production capacity. Its local situation and its style development service appeal to ready-to-wear names like Adolfo Dominguez and Koton.

Outerwear - Dun Huang Garment, from Hong Kong: since its launch in 1995, the manufacturer has developed premium-quality womenswear collections consisting of quilted outerwear, parkas and coats with sophisticated details for mid-range and designer buyers; the firm works with Iceberg, Kenzo and Caroll.
