Sympatex launches 3D technology apparels

Phaseable is a new 2.5-layer laminate, 3D apparel technology. The three-dimensional half-layer on the inside of the laminate only touches the skin punctually in the form of foam points. During high activity the membrane expands and reduces insulation air chambers in between dots, providing reduced heat insulation, increased breathability and perspiration removal.

During the recovery phase of the athlete, an insulating air layer is created between the skin and the laminate. When the physical activity is increased, moisture is produced, which lets the compact hydrophilic Sympatex membrane swell up. Thus, the foam points disappear, the distance to the skin is reduced, and the laminate gets closer to the skin.

Moisture-tech 360° is an innovative insole which combines with Moisture-tech laminate to create an even better micro-climate in the shoe. In addition to the faster wicking in the shaft section by the Moisture-tech lining laminate, the insole creates a 360° effect. The insole draws the moisture away from the foot or sock and buffers it briefly in an innovative intermediate layer.

The rolling movement of the foot generates ventilation and pumping effect in the duct structure of the insole which transports moisture in the form of water vapour evenly to the shaft fitted with Moisture-tech lining laminate.

This allows the moisture to be wicked outwards on a large scale. If a standard insole is used the moisture is not wicked away from the foot which causes a moisture block in the sock. The technology of the Moisture-tech 360° insole enables all-round perspiration wicking and ensures excellent wearer comfort and dry feet.
