Guess? March retail sales grows 14%, Comp store sales up 8.1%

Apparel and accessories retailer Guess? Inc has reported that total March retail sales for the month ended April 1st 2006 were $56.8 million, an increase of 14.0 percent from sales of $49.8 million for the month ended April 2nd 2005.
Comparable store sales for the March period increased 8.1 percent.
For the first quarter ended April 1st 2006, total retail sales increased 21.6 percent to $140.2 million compared to $115.2 million for the first quarter of 2005. Comparable store sales increased 13.9 percent during the first quarter of 2006.
