Clothing retailer Superior Uniform Group is pleased to announce its receipt of three awards by the Career Apparel Institute (CAI) division of the National Association of Uniform Manufacturers and Distributors (NAUMD) at their 73rd Annual Convention held recently in Las Vegas.
Superior took home two 'Image of the Year' awards for its national apparel programs for Holiday Inn(R) Hotels & Resorts and Allied Barton Security Services.
Superior provided Holiday Inn with a program that incorporates a visual personality across all job categories; using fabric and construction that can stand up to daily rigorous wear. The look remains consistent with Holiday Inn's classic appearance and rich history, while utilizing a variety of custom prints, colors and accessories to achieve a contemporary and unique collection.
The Allied Barton Security Services' program features three different looks -- Casual, Tailored and Military -- that cater to the diverse environments of their customers' properties. Each of the looks offers a clean, distinctive appearance that commands authority and respect for their security officers, while still providing end-user comfort and practicality.
Superior also received an 'Outstanding Achievement' award for its Northwestern Memorial Hospital (Chicago) medical uniform program. Each functional area within the hospital is assigned a specific color of uniform, which creates immediate caregiver identification. Patients and Staff appreciate the ability to quickly identify the role of each hospital employee involved in the uniform program.
