Merchandise leader Paxar Corp fortifies Latin America lead team

Global leader in providing innovative merchandising systems to retailers and apparel customers, Paxar Corporation announced the hiring of Roberto J. Torok as Vice President, Latin America, and Jose Blanco, Human Resources Director, Latin America, effective April 24, 2006.
Torok will lead Paxar's Latin America region, including Mexico, Honduras, Dominican Republic, Colombia, Brazil, Guatemala, Nicaragua, Haiti, El Salvador and Peru. His primary focus will be to implement best-in-class operational and customer support programs throughout the region, while spearheading growth initiatives.
Torok, who holds a degree in accounting, joins Paxar with broad Latin America experience spanning 15 years in senior management positions. Most recently, he served as Vice President and General Manager, Small and Medium Business, at Lexmark International, a leading developer, manufacturer and supplier of printing and imaging solutions globally. In this role, he was responsible for overseeing its small and medium sized businesses, worldwide. Mr. Torok will report to Susan Guerin, President, Americas Apparel Group.
The company also announced today that Jose Blanco has joined the organization as Human Resources Director, Latin America. Blanco comes to the organization with many years of experience at Fortune 500 companies and most recently held human resources management positions at PepsiCo and Motorola.
