Premier mall-based casual & active apparel retailer Aeropostale Inc announced total net sales for the four-week period ended May 28, 2005 increased 15.7% to $62.6 million, compared to $54.1 million for the four-week period ended May 29, 2004. The company's comparable store sales decreased 4.9% for the month, versus a comparable store sales increase of 27.0% in the year ago period.
Fiscal year to date, total net sales have increased 23.7% to $274.3 million, compared to $221.8 million in the year-ago period. Fiscal year to date, comparable store sales have increased 2.3%, compared to 20.7% in the year-ago period.
