Russell BOD approves regular quarterly dividend

Vertically integrated apparel producer Russell Corporation's Board of Directors (BOD) has declared its regular quarterly dividend of $0.04 per common share, payable August 24, 2005, to shareholders of record on August 10, 2005.
This represents the 169th consecutive quarterly dividend paid by the Company.
Atlanta based Russell Corporation is a leading branded athletic and sporting goods company marketing athletic apparel, uniforms, footwear and equipment for a wide variety of sports, outdoor and fitness activities. The Company's major brands include Russell Athletic, JERZEES, Spalding, Brooks, Huffy Sports, Bike, Moving Comfort, AAI and Mossy Oak.
The company is incorporated with Benjamin Russell as President. Assets include eight knitting machines and twelve sewing machines.
