Apparel maker Russell to take part at Adams Harkness Summer Seminar

Vertically integrated apparel manufacturer Russell Corporation announced its senior management will be presenting at the 25th Annual Adams Harkness Summer Seminar. Robert D. Koney, Jr., Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer will provide an overview of the Company's products, operations and long term strategic direction.
The presentation is scheduled for Wednesday, August 3, 2005 at 10:30 a.m. eastern time at the Marriott Boston Long Warf hotel in Boston, MA. The audio portion of the presentation will be webcast live. You may access the webcast, by going to the Investor Relations page of the Company's website at http://www.russellcorp.com. A replay of the presentation will be available at both sites approximately three hours following the live event through September 2, 2005.
