Accretive Commerce, the leading business process outsourcer of direct-to-customer commerce services, announced it has signed a long-term agreement with Christopher & Banks Corporation, a leading specialty retailer of women's clothing, to launch their online stores.
Under the terms of the agreement, Accretive Commerce will provide Christopher & Banks with a complete end to end suite of direct e-commerce services, including store front design, the e-commerce platform, product imaging, customer care, fulfillment, and logistics for several of the company's brands. The actual launch of the new stores is targeted for Fall 2007.
Christopher & Banks is a Minneapolis-based specialty retailer with over 50 years of history, currently operating over 800 stores. The company has undertaken a number of key initiatives and made significant investments to invigorate its brands and position itself for further growth. Similarly, it has taken a diligent approach towards developing its multi-channel strategy, and this long-term agreement with Accretive represents the culmination of that process.
“The web is a key component to our long-term growth strategy,” said Matthew Dillon, Christopher & Banks President and CEO. “Our customers are looking for opportunities to interact with our brands and buy our unique blend of quality, styling, easy care and versatile apparel online. After an extensive search, we determined that Accretive Commerce is the right partner to help uslaunch this channel. They offer a business model that lets us focus on our merchandising and marketing strengths.”
