Cato evaluating 'Katrina' impact on a store-by-store basis

Women's fashion apparel specialty store Cato Corporation reported that Hurricane Katrina affected approximately 125 of its nearly 1,200 stores. Approximately 50 stores remain closed due to storm damage or downed power and telephone lines. The Company is currently assessing the impact on a store by store basis.
