Apparel store Limited Brands Aug Comp Store sales drop

Ohio based women's apparel store Limited Brands reported a comparable store sales decrease of 3 percent for the four weeks ended August 27, 2005 compared to the four weeks ended August 28, 2004. Net sales were $575.3 million compared to net sales of $577.8 million last year.
Comparable store sales decreased 3 percent for the year-to-date period and net sales increased 2 percent to $4.841 billion compared to sales of $4.767 billion last year.
