While, talking to the media, Shailesh Chaturvedi, CEO of Tommy Hilfiger Apparel India, said “Currently, we are in the second phase of expansion. We have been in the Indian market for the last three years with eight points of sale. By this year, we will be having 22 such points.”

Of the 22 outlets that the company is planning to launch, nearly 12-14 will be Tommy Hilfiger's exclusive stores. The remaining would be contracted by malls and departmental stores like Shoppers Stop and Central.

With regard to its expansion plan, Mr Chaturvedi only reiterated that the company is expecting to target Rs100 crore by the end of this fiscal year and will also increase its distribution by enlarging its network with departmental stores.
