Retail clothier Goody's new address at Monroe

Tennessee based clothing retailer Goody's Family Clothing Inc is offering a fresh, convenient way to shop for the latest fashions, shoes, and accessories with the grand opening of its newest location in Monroe on Thursday, October 20, 2005.

The new 27,531-square-foot store will be located in Poplin Place shopping center. Local dignitaries and executives from Goody's corporate office in Knoxville, Tenn. will commemorate the grand opening with a ribbon-cutting ceremony. Shoppers are invited to celebrate the grand opening festivities at 9 a.m.

The first 300 customers will receive a goody bag with five lucky customers receiving a bag including a $100 giftcard. Throughout the grand opening weekend, shoppers will also have the opportunity to register to win an assortment of prizes including a $500 giftcard and family vacations.

The Monroe location is one of two stores hosting grand opening ceremonies on October 20. Goody's will also open a store in Ponca City, Okla.

Goody's targets value-conscious customers and promises to provide a broad selection of merchandise featuring labels such as Adidas, Alfred Dunner, Carter's, Dockers, Duck Head, L.E.I., Lee, Levi's, Mudd, Nike, Reebok, Requirements, Sag Harbor, Norton McNaughton, U.S. Polo Association, and Zana-di.
