Innovations from INVISTA to echo theme of 'Seduction' at Mode Lingerie

INVISTA, one of the world's leading producers of integrated fibers and polymers and owner of the LYCRA fibre brand, is exhibiting its LYCRA fibre innovations for the fifth year at the prestigious Hong Kong Mode Lingerie (7-8 April 2009).

All of the intimate apparel and swimwear innovations from INVISTA will echo the theme of 'Seduction':

• The first innovation from the LYCRA 2.0 garment technology platform
• Bonds herns, bands and seams to give garments stretch and recovery benefits that move with the body
• Designers will be able to reduce underwear lines and bulky elastics while extending durability of lingerie

• Hong Kong Polytechnic, amongst other design schools across the globe, took part in INVISTA's International Design Contest last year, which challenged students to create lingerie that best demonstrates the unique benefits of this new innovation

• Suitable for the design and production of very light weight fabrics (120 gram/m2 or less)
• These fabrics provide wearers with a 'second skin' feeling by giving them a perception of barely-there intimates
• Creates a stylish and elegant look within lingerie

LYCRA freshFX fabric
• Keeps the wearer fresh, carefree and confident
• Wicker fabrics dry quickly thanks to the nylon fibre with a unique four-channel capillary cross-section

Xtra Life LYCRA fibre
• Delivers beautiful, long-lasting fir in swimwear
• Resists chlorine and allows garments to keep their shape up to 5-10 times longer the unprotected elastane fibre
