M&S to guide men for buying 'perfect lingerie' gift

Britain's biggest clothing retailer Marks & Spencer launches a special service offering man-to-man advice on finding the perfect lingerie gift for your partner in 12 stores across the UK and the Republic of Ireland in the run up to Christmas.

Easily located in booths within the lingerie departments of participating stores, trained male advisers - Stocking Fellas -will be on hand to guide you through your lingerie shopping.

Andy Ferguson, Head of Christmas at Marks & Spencer says: "The level of lingerie items exchanged goes through the roof in January which tells us that women are not happy with the lingerie they are being given at Christmas and according to a survey that they have done only 34 percent of women are completely happy with the underwear that their partner buys as a gift*.

Staggeringly only 33 percent of men know their partner's vital statistics* so it's no wonder that men are getting it so wrong.

The Stocking Fellas will guide men through the dark art of lingerie shopping and help them get it right this year."

The Stocking Fellas will offer tips and advice on all aspects of buying lingerie gifts and, with the help of a simple quiz, will determine which of the five M&S underwear brands are right for your partner.
