  • In H1 2023, China's exports of textiles, clothing, and accessories decreased 8.35 per cent to $142.677 billion.
  • Garment exports fell 5.9 per cent, with a 10.9 per cent decline in textile exports.
  • Meanwhile, imports of textile yarn and fabric products fell by 19.6 per cent.
  • Despite this downturn, the total 2022 exports grew by 2.53 per cent compared to 2021.
