Tamil Nadu 1st Indian state to launch PM MITRA mega textile park

  • India's Tamil Nadu has become the first state to launch a mega textile park as part of the government's PM MITRA initiative. Eleven companies have signed agreements to set up units in the 1,052-acre park, with a total investment of ₹1,231 crore. Tamil Nadu will invest ₹2,000 crore in the park, which will create employment for about 2 lakh people.
