  • Turkiye's apparel exports experienced a drop to $7.921 billion in the first 5 months of 2023.
  • However, a robust recovery in May saw exports rise by 27.63 per cent to $1.575 billion.
  • Although knitted clothing exports declined by 3.8 per cent, non-knitted apparel exports rose 2.1 per cent.
  • This downturn follows an overall growth of 6.46 per cent in 2022.
