CILA Awards 2006 – a gala evening on July 31

For the last two years Contours Magazine has been actively researching the feasibility of launching a glamorously high profile event to raise awareness of the influence the Intimate Apparel industry as a whole has on fashion and to recognize the excellence of companies within it.

The Concept
Opinions from leading members of the industry both at the manufacturing and retail levels were sought, as to the viability and need for such an event, the Contours International Intimate Apparel Awards (CILA) and an overwhelming majority enthusiastically supported the concept that had been developed.

So Contours Magazine is launching for 2006, a long overdue event to acknowledge the high levels of creativity and design, and the innovations of modern day fit and comfort that have been achieved in this fast paced industry.

The Contours International Intimate Apparel Awards will be a celebration of what is perceived, by a panel of independent judges, as the best in the industry! However, the intention is not only will it be a celebration for category winners but a celebration for the whole industry…… It will further highlight the achievements of not only the intimate apparel industry as a whole but also brands and companies that work within the industry.

The Contours International Intimate Apparel Awards will be held on Monday July 31st 2006, during the market, at the Skylight Room, Waldorf Astoria Hotel, New York.
