To advertise and market apparel, footwear or fashion accessories, companies hire supermodels and celebrities such as Hilary Duff and Jessica Simpson. But this trend does not work on pre-teen girls, revealed a survey.
Girls aged between 9 and 14 select their wardrobes through catalogs and taking suggestions from their peers rather than following high profile advertisements.
Fashion companies pay millions of dollars to celebrities to advertise their products instead of catazine and style magazine which can save their money.
Survey also reveled that only 12 percent of pre-teen girls follow the stars and model to select their wardrobes.
