Vietnamese Ministry of Industry and Trade (MOIT) has recently released reports, according to which in November 2007 the country suffered strong fall in footwear exports. However, the country was going through this dip for last several months.
In November, footwear exports turnover was just US $320 million, a $50 million less than October this year.
Till November end, this year, the country fetched $3.53 billion from exports and MOIT is quite unsure of achieving the set target for 2007.
