Hanosimex recently approved a strategic plan on developing its textile production system in a bid to improve its own capacity within international and regional integration of Vietnam in the coming years, industrial sources said.
According to the plan, Hanoi–based company would apply the latest technologies of the world for its big capacity–polyester plant with an investment of US $50-$60 million and a new fibre factory of 16,000 ton per year capacity that funds more than $50 million.
These projects are scheduled to go into operation in year end 2010 and afterwards.
Company has also invested VND 165 billion or $10.3 million for many projects, such as expanding Hanoi fibre factory, constructing a new unit producing the knitwear fashion etc.
