Handloom showrooms to pull in more business

State Handloom Development Corporation Showroom was inaugurated yesterday by the Minister for Power and Industry Nawang Rigzin Jora.
He informed that the purpose of the showroom was meant for sale of products exclusively manufactured under handloom sector of the State.
Marketing of best quality shawls of colorful designs, excellent tweed garments, and original hand-woven Pashmina will be carried on from the showroom, he elaborated.
He said exclusive showrooms have been opened in Delhi, Jaipur, Katra and Kolkata and hoped that they may open abroad too.
Sales from the showrooms will generate funds for the Corporation and create opportunity to produce finer quality handloom products.
