American retail stores franchisor Winmark reports Q3 revenue of $16 mn

Winmark Corporation, a US-based franchisor of value-oriented retail stores, has posted revenue increase to $16.4 million in the third quarter (Q3) of FY21 ended on September 25, 2021, compared to the revenue of $14.2 million in the corresponding period of prior fiscal. The company’s net income for the period was $10.1 million (Q3 FY20: $9.3 million).
“We are pleased with the continued strength of our business and the performance of our franchisees. Our sustainable business model continues to be well received by consumers in the communities we serve,” Brett Heffes, chairman and chief executive officer at Winmark Corporation, said in a press release.
Cost of merchandise sold were for Q3 were $0.7 million ($0.6 million), while income from operations rose to $13.8 million ($12.5 million).
