Specialty retailer Steve & Barry selects GERS' retail systems

The GERS Warehouse Management & Distribution module will play an especially important role in allowing Steve & Barry's to optimize the operation of their soon-to-be-opened one-million-square-foot automated Distribution Center.

The GERS application will generate the recommended allocation of received goods for automated conveyance swiftly through the DC, resulting in efficient throughput of goods as well as significant cost reductions.

Steve & Barry's University Sportswear is leading the trend known as extreme retailing.

Almost every item in their chain of over 120 stores, which includes licensed collegiate apparel representing more than 350 schools and universities and apparel for automotive manufacturers like General Motors, Ford, and Hummer, is priced at $9.98 or less.
