Lectra presents leather-cutting solutions together with Humantec at Interzum 2005

Software solution provider Lectra introduced a revolution in the furniture and furnishings sector at Interzum 2005 by displaying several new solutions specifically dedicated to the industry, notably a new line of redesigned CAD equipment and a 3D solution that is unique in this market.

Interzum 2005 also provided Lectra with a first-time opportunity to present its leather-cutting solutions together with Humantec, a recognized leader in this domain which was acquired by Lectra in December, 2004.

The synergies of the two companies' leather processing solutions were on full display at a 400 m2 booth, where more than 300 people visited the stand in search of solutions to meet their challenges and evolve in a highly competitive environment. Visitors were able to see demonstrations of the entire offering – 3D prototyping, pattern creation, marker making, leather and fabric cutting – and they welcomed the new solutions with enthusiasm.
