Under Armour implements Centric 8 PLM software

Under Armour, Inc., makers of performance footwear, apparel, and equipment, has selected Centric Software, Inc. to provide product lifecycle management (PLM) software to guide the product creation process from planning through release.

More than 1,000 Under Armour employees in footwear, apparel, and equipment will use the complete Centric 8 PLM software, including all mobile applications. Centric PLM for retail apparel, footwear, luxury, and consumer goods helps outdoor equipments, apparel, and footwear makers speed product development, improve costs, and increase market responsiveness. The Centric 8 PLM platform will allow Under Armour to continue to focus on product innovation, according to a press release.

Kip Fulks, president of footwear and innovation, Under Armour said, “Under Armour selected Centric for its team expertise and revolutionary product roadmap. As a global growth company, our brand needs a cutting-edge PLM partner that can continue to elevate and adapt as new initiatives and strategies are implemented.”
