Platinum Sportswear selects Magnal FA.CT.S software for paybill & production control

MAGNAL FA.CT.S software consists of 6 modules: Piecework Payroll and Cost Control, Planning and WIP, Modular Manufacturing, Real time, Cutting Incentive and Distribution Centre Incentive. Factories of every size throughout the Americas currently run both basic and real time versions of MAGNAL FA.CT.S.

Platinum Sportswear was founded in 1980 by the Litsky Family as a retail clothing store in Atlanta, GA. During the 1980's, the company began manufacturing its own brands . Today, Platinum produces knitted fabrics and apparel in its own facilities in the USA.

Magnal Solutions As of September 1, 2006, Magnal, based in Montreal, Canada, has restructured its commercial activities in two separate business units, to better serve its customers.

Production management and engineering consulting services continue to be offered by George Davidson and his team under the Magnal Inc. banner. All activities related to the MAGNAL FA.CT.S software now operate under the name of "Magnal Solutions Inc" under the direction of James O'Farrell.

This strategic move reflects management's desire to take full advantage worldwide growth opportunities for the MAGNAL FA.CT.S software, which is currently sold in North, Central and South America.
