Wensum Tailoring & Corona Clothing choose XeBusiness IT

Wensum Tailoring and its off-shore manufacturing partner, Corona Clothing based in Mauritius will both implement the XeBusiness specialist business management and management information system Xe-ERP2.
The twin systems covering the CRM (Customer Relationship Management), Purchasing, MRP and Distribution functions will be implemented at both sites and will be integrated via the Internet to provide full supply chain visibility and logistics management to reduce operating cost and continually improve customer service.
Commenting on the award of these twin implementation contracts to XeBusiness, Simon Glendenning, Wensum Tailoring Managing Director, said: “Following our purchase of the business in May this year, we required an IT system that was specialist to the industry, well established and supported and capable of being quickly customised to reflect the changing and growing needs of our business. Xe-ERP2 from XeBusiness fitted the bill.”
David Cullis, Chief Executive of XeBusiness responded by saying:
“The award of these two linked contracts is further evidence of the trend for innovative and fast moving UK apparel suppliers to integrate their business management systems with those of their major off-shore manufacturing partners to facilitate quick response to sales demand, improve accuracy and to meet delivery dates”.
He continued by saying: “We are pleased to be associated with Wensum Tailoring, a premium menswear suit supplier at this interesting stage of their development.”
