IBM announced that LVMH France Argentine Cosmetics S.A., a subsidiary of LVMH Moët Hennessy Louis Vuitton, and a leading provider of luxury goods with brand names such as Christian Dior, Guerlain, Givenchy and Kenzo, has chosen IBM Information Integration Solutions to create an integrated information management environment.
LVMH France Argentine Cosmetics has selected IBM Information Server, a first-of-a-kind software platform, to transform and deliver trusted information to the company's business processes, synchronizing and delivering up-to-date information among LVMH France Argentine Cosmetics sales representatives, LVMH corporate headquarters in France, their retailers and suppliers.
The project has helped the company automate manual processes, provide real-time information about customers and order information, streamline logistics, and help address compliance needs.
"LVMH offers a unique portfolio of some of the world's leading luxury brands," said Marcelo Armentano, financial director, LVMH France Argentine Cosmetics. "Precision in dealing with our customers and suppliers is critical in upholding the standards our brand represents. IBM Information Server helps automate our entire logistics process by delivering accurate, up-to-date information to our business process to ensure from the moment an order is received to the moment that same order is delivered, our retailers are getting precisely what they need, as efficiently as possible."
