Datamars presents new Rotating Garment Dispenser System

Datamars announced its new Rotating Garment Dispenser System with breakthrough RFID technology, which will debut at the Clean Show (booth no. 3267), June 11-14, Las Vegas, Nev. It combines robotics and speeds garment handling and accuracy without human intervention.
The Rotating Garment Dispenser leverages Datamars' RFID technology to bring substantial productivity increases and cost savings by minimizing potential errors.
The Rotating Garment Dispenser system automates the manual sorting process, which is limited by the number of operators and innate human error. These limitations are eliminated with the Rotating Garment Dispenser System. It features a robotic arm that places pre-hung garments on a routing hook to ensure that the right garments arrive at the right customer.
The combination robotic arm and RFID technology not only matches the garment to the appropriate routing hook, but also operates in a continuous process to ensure speed and accuracy beyond what is humanly possible.
“Industrial launderers are under pressure to improve throughput while controlling costs. The Rotating Garment Dispenser system allows them to do both,” says Ken Boyle, president of Datamars North America. Boyle adds, “This is a tremendous advantage to plants with manual sorting because now they can add the speed and accuracy of full automation at a fraction of the cost.”
The Rotating Garment Dispenser system includes RF Tracker software, robotics hardware, RFID devices and professional services for integrating the Rotating Garment Dispenser system within existing graduated rail systems.
