Zegna iJACKET 'Communication Clothing' to feature Eleksen fabrics

Eleksen Group plc announces that Zegna Sport will utilize ElekTex controls in its new Bluetooth iJACKET, billed as “communication clothing.” With this technological advancement of Zegna's iJACKET, wearers can use their cell phone and simultaneously listen to music on their iPod?managing both through a sleek control embedded in the jacket sleeve.
The stylish Zegna Bluetooth iJACKET embeds Eleksen's ElekTex smart fabric. This slim electronic sensor turns fashion items into wearable electronics. With ElekTex, wearers can control their electronic devices from their sleeve while keeping the device safely tucked away in their pocket. Eleksen's 100 percent fabric ElekTex touchpads are thin, lightweight, breathable, and waterproof, making them ideal for active and mobile lifestyles.
With ElekTex integrated into the jacket design, wearers can easily control mobile devices on the run.
The addition of a Bluetooth interface and integrated microphone on the jacket collar allow wearers to dial and chat on the phone wirelessly while enjoying music from their iPod. As an incoming call is received, the music volume automatically drops to notify the wearer, and the sleeve control panel instantly switches to phone control mode.
