JD Williams recognized as Top 40 Innovator by Apparel Magazine

TradeStone Software, the retail industry's leading provider of private label and global sourcing solutions, announced key customer and renowned UK-retailer JD Williams has been selected as a finalist for the VICS Collaborative Commerce Achievement Awards.
JD Williams was selected in the “Supply Side Excellence” category for the innovative work they've done with TradeStone's Merchandise Lifecycle Management solutions, including accelerating speed to market and improving supply chain visibility. Other finalists in the category include Dr. Pepper Snapple Group and Whirlpool Corporation.
The VICS Achievement Awards honor outstanding companies for their strategic thinking, leadership and effective supply chain initiatives. The Awards recognize the positive results of company-wide dedication to customer satisfaction through continuous improvements to the supply chain. This year's awards ceremony will be presented at the U Connect Event in Orlando, Florida on the evening of June 3, 2009.
In addition to the recognition from VICS, JD William's work with TradeStone is featured in the current issue of Apparel Magazine as a Top 40 Innovator in the retail industry. The publication highlights the success of the JD Williams/TradeStone partnership through the enhanced accuracy of sample measurements, increased customer choices and sales increases. JD Williams CEO Alan White notes in the article, “To offer our range of products in a multi-channel retail market, we're employing the latest and best technology.”
