In what could spell excellent future prospects for the company, Bandar Imam Khomeini Petrochemical Complex (BIPC) announced that it has produced in excess of two million tons of petrochemicals in just the past four months.
According to reliable company sources, this is five percent more than last year's production during the same period. Translated in volume, it stands at 500 thousand tons more than the perceived target for 2007.
BIPC, the largest petrochemical plant in Iran, exports benzene, ethylene and paraxylene to most countries in the world.
