Stahl to close manufacturing at Peabody

A manufacturer of specialty coatings for automobiles, 'Stahl USA' is selling its factory in Peabody in coming month and shifting it to Mexico, Holland or Spain, informed Mr. Britt Keaton, Plant Manager of the Company.
However, the company will maintain its sales and marketing office in the city, he added, saying that he has no idea about the number of layoffs after company's closure. In more than 28 countries the company employs 1,300 people.
