3rd International Cotton Conference at Tashkent concludes successfully

a unique component of the third international cotton conference in tashkent was an excursion to the trade exhibition, cotton and silk world – 2005. the large exhibition featured displays of ginning equipment, agricultural machinery and textile products of central asia. the exhibition opened during the tashkent cotton conference, and between 6,000 and 8,000 visitors from the central asian region are expected.
the fourth international cotton conference in tashkent will be held in the first half of 2007, and future conferences oriented toward topics related to cotton marketing and trade will be held at two-year intervals.
