'Made in Italy' show staged in Sofia

On Friday night, Italian fasion stars descended at the Central military Club.

It was a fashion show of leading Italian designers organized by the Italian Institute of Foreign Trade, which was marked by optimism and creativity.

Collection included big names in the Italian fashions like Armani, Cerritti, Iceberg, Roberto Cavalli and Versace.

While the ladies' fashion were centred around free spirit of women and their wish to be delicate and challenging simultaneoulsly, men's collections hinged on their innate strength and vitality like never before.

This Italian haute couture is part of the annual country festival of culture and arts, and will continue till June 17.

For the second year in the running, Bulgaria is witnessing this popular festival, more so as Italy attaches tremendous importance to its business and cultural partnership with Bulgaria.

The organisers, Italian Foreign Trade Institute and the Italian Cultural Institute under the patronage of Ambassador to Sofia Gian Battista Campagnola, have also arranged for a slew of parallel events including culinary, fashion, furniture design, arts and cinema festivals.

Such an Italian festival is held throughout the world each year, simultaneously.
