Viet Nam Expo 2005 – Vietnam's very important economic and commercial event ever held in Paris, France. About 30 Vietnamese businesses show off their products at the event.
The expo begin on June 14, was an initiative of the Vietnamese Embassy in France. The Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee, the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Paris (CCIP), Vietnam Airlines and a club of important Vietnamese businesses sponsored it.
Leading companies of Vietnam like An Phuoc, Vina Footwear, Savimex, Kinh Do, and PNJ, have displayed their garment and textiles, footwear, handicrafts and foodstuffs in an area of 1,000 sq. m.
The CCIP official informed that the Vietnam's growing purchasing power, raise attraction to investors and fast development of the private sector is the reason behind the vitality of its national economy.
