Institute for International Research (IIR Middle East) has organised Fusion 06, an industry platform on contemporary lifestyle, a festival reflecting Dubai's status as the premier hub for fashion and textile export.
It is scheduled to take place at the Airport Expo Dubai during September 21-23, 2006.
Besides Fusion, IIR's portfolio includes flagship events like Cityscape, Arab Health, PALME (Pro Audio Light Middle East), The Bride Show Dubai and Ambiente Al Bayt Al Arabie.
Massive influx of tourists and heightened retail and commercial development in Dubai, have all resulted in its retail spending to cross an estimated figure of AED27.89 billion by 2009 according to a study by Retail International.
Dubai's long-term growth prospects are bright for the retail industry as it is the most 'densely shopped city' in the world and has several malls and other retail units springing up.
Fusion 06 is expected to present completely unorthodox settings to participants and exhibitors while creating the right environment to make it a profitable and a worthwhile experience.
