Swiss Designer Daniel Rehberg to exhibit summer 2006 collection at EFW

The international Design exhibition, the EuroFashion Week Berlin (EFW), hosts talented international designers presenting upcoming trends. As a magnet for creative talent it will attract promising fashion designers from 8 countries.-

Bursting with energy, and the creator of a spectacular new fashion brand, Daniel Rehberg will be exhibiting his summer 2006 collection.

Born in Vienna, Daniel spent his teenage years in Austria, Germany, France and Switzerland with his parents, both artists. His natural attraction to fashion later on led him to study design in Germany and France.

He spent his early career working for several fashion brands in Paris, during the rise of the French “créateurs”. He also set up his own fashion design studio selling at his retail outlets in Geneva, creating outfits for several theatres and dance groups as well.

In 1991 Daniel discovered New York, the seminal clubs and art galleries of the Big Apple. He made a career move in 1996 and studied at Berkeley University. Later he worked for Channel 13, a New York based cultural broadcasting station, as well as for numerous multinationals in Ireland, Switzerland and Russia.

During his one-year international assignment in Saint Petersburg ending in April 2005, where he worked for organisations such as the State Hermitage Museum, he felt that the artistic setting of this iconic baroque city was the perfect inspirational backdrop for the launch of his new fashion brand.
