Slaiman Al Arabiat, Ambassador of Jordan to Kazakhstan, at the opening of the 1st exhibition of the Jordanian industrial production in Almaty, told the reporters, “The exposition was initiated by King Abdullah II of Jordan and the President of Nursultan Nazarbayev.”
The Commerce and Industry Chamber of Kazakhstan had been the major organizer of the event which was held during the visit paid by delegates of Jordan to Almaty.
Jordan presented Kazakhstan with reports about the potential of companies interested in commercial trade and also gave advice on future projects demanding mutual cooperation.
Both the sides took initiative to enlarge their sphere of mutual understanding which was until now restricted only to politics. The exhibition was of great significance for both Jordan and Kazakhstan since nearly 54 companies from the two countries were present for the event symbolizing strong unity.
Jordan Ambassador also expressed desire to open Chamber of Commerce in Almaty. The value of the overall transaction between the two countries reached more than US $10 million in five months this year. Besides, Kazakhstan is also planning to cooperate with Jordan in textile production.
