200 firms partaking at Intertextile Shanghai Home Textiles

The spring edition of Intertextile Shanghai Home Textiles returns to Shanghai from March 15-17, 2017, with 200 participating exhibitors, who will showcase products including, duvets, pillows, bedding and towelling. The presence of Lenzing, Cotton Council International (CCI) and the India Pavilion, are the highlights of the overseas offerings at this edition.
Austrian producer of cellulosic fibres Lenzing will feature its various fibres brands like Tencel, Modal, MicroModal, ProModal, Lenzing Viscose and Lenzing FR.
CCI, which is exhibiting for the first time at the show, will connect buyers and sellers along the entire supply chain through its Cotton USA Sourcing and Sourcing USA programmes.
The India Pavilion, which debuts for the first time and set-up by the Powerloom Development & Export Promotion Council (PDEXCIL), will see 10 Indian companies showing bedding and bath products.
“The Chinese towelling market in particular has been thriving recently, with consumers paying more attention to the material, quality, function and different uses of towels,” Wendy Wen, senior general manager of Messe Frankfurt (HK) Ltd said. “Given the positive market conditions at present, last year’s show was well praised by both exhibitors and buyers, and we are confident that it will continue its success this year.” (AR)
