62nd Dornbirn GFC to take place in Austria from September 13-15

The 62^nd Dornbirn Global Fibre Congress (GFC) will take place from September 13-15, 2023 at the Kulturhaus, Dornbirn, Austria. The offer of the Dornbirn GFC 2023 will be significantly expanded. The number of presentations has increased to 120. The selection of halls for the presentations will also be extended. International speakers from industry and research will present the latest innovations in the fibre and textile industry on a total of 4 stages. A special form of catering and a special culinary offer awaits the visitors of the Dornbirn GFC this year.

Until May 31, 2023, the early bird ticket is available at a reduced price. The participant ticket includes the visit of all 120 expert lectures, the exhibition area, the 3^rd Innovation Days and the traditional gala evening on the opening day with buffet and fashion show. The congress ticket also includes a first-class lunch on the first and second day, all drinks and fruits, coffee and cake during the breaks, the organiser said in a press release.

The organising team of the Dornbirn GFC took the spirit of the Innovation Days and developed a higher quality offering for participants and visitors. As part of the Dornbirn GFC, the 3^rd Innovation Days will be given a larger platform. In cooperation with FashionForGood and PWC(PriceWaterhouseCoopers), the 25 participants of the 3^rd Innovation Days will start pitching their innovations on the opening morning. More than 500 professionals will follow the short intro of each young company. The heart of the Innovation Days - the Contact Point - is located in the large foyer of the event location. At this place the expert audience and the participants of the Innovation Days will connect. FashionForGood "is here to make all fashion good" is a company with a great deal of experience in the "fashion industry" and the many innovations in this area - FashionForGood will accompany the young, innovative entrepreneurs through the congress and open up further dimensions.

A special block of lectures will result from the cooperation on the topic of sustainability between RWTH Aachen University and European industry partners. The Swiss company TEXAID Textilverwertungs will start this block with the lecture: "Sustainability in the textile industry: How spinning mills turn recycled material into yarn". Further, several other relevant industry players will be on stage and will show their innovations on this enormously important topic and the way forward.
