Asian benzene prices move up last week

Benzene prices leaped higher in Asia in the last week due to strong upstream energy values in the region.

In Korea, average prices soared by US$ 15/ton and assessed at US$ 855/ton in the last week, after a gain of 1.79 per cent as compared to the previous week.

In Japan, average prices moved up by US$ 15/ton and quoted at US$ 860/ton in the last week, an improvement of 1.78 per cent over the previous week.

In India, average prices edged higher by US$ 15/ton and settled at US$ 870/ton in the last week, a hike of 1.75 per cent as compared to the previous week.
