Asian benzene prices rise on higher energy rates

Benzene prices surged in Asia in the last week due to higher energy rates in the market.
In Korea, average prices enhanced by US$ 40/ton and assessed at US$ 995/ton in the last week, an improvement of 4.19 per cent over the price prevailing at the end of the previous week.
In Japan, average prices moved up by US$ 40/ton to US$ 1000/ton in the last week, as compared to previous week, after a growth of 4.17 per cent.
In India, average prices inched higher by US$ 35/ton and quoted at US$ 1000/ton in the last week, as compared to previous week, a climb of 3.63 per cent.
